Your wellbeing has never been so important. Constant lockdowns and increased anxiety about the "new normal" is playing havoc with our emotions and our health. Its time to take a fresh perspective on ways to improve our wellbeing and your home is the first place to start! Here are some simple ways to support your wellbeing.

Create a Space
Feeling overworked and overstimulated? This has a huge effect on our health and wellbeing, Our homes are usually the only place where we have a choice of how much stimulation we’re exposed to.
Try styling areas within your home that are free of digital distractions and conducive to healthy interactions with family and friends. “his doesn’t necessarily mean a minimalist room – it could be a balcony for gardening or a hobby room, for example.
The most important styling principle is to design around people, and not the TV. Position yourself to enjoy the sun when it’s out, make quiet spots for study, and create spaces that support the value of people coming together.
De-Clutter
If you keep putting off decluttering your home, scientific research might give you the motivation you need. Studies show there is a link between cluttered homes and a decrease in life satisfaction.
It makes sense, then, to put storage on your list to improve your wellbeing. Declutter first, so you’re left with the final edit of your belongings, then plan storage to perfectly match your needs.

Create Calm
Open spaces are generally seen as more beautiful than enclosed ones because they provide the space to be calm and think clearly. But this doesn’t mean your rooms have to be large.
Smaller spaces can be beautiful if it’s styled well for example.
The key is to style your rooms so that they feel spacious and function well, rather than focusing on size or whether it’s open-plan or not. The layout is important to ensure there’s a feeling of flow.

Nature to Nurture
When you imagine a setting of complete relaxation, odds are the first thing that comes to mind is a place surrounded by nature, be it a forest, mountains or the sea.
Research shows there is a positive association between nature and happiness which is why complimenting your space with plants can improve your wellbeing.
To create a great contrast, group your plants based on green foliage of different leaf shape and sizes, and even mix plants of different colours, textures and sizes, which is what happens in nature.
Play with groups that look good together but require similar attention, outlay pots of different sizes or use plant stands for a tiered effect.
